Anna J Thede
AJ Thede graduated from Calvin University, Cum Laude, as one of the first students in the school’s history to earn an interdisciplinary degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics.
Ms. Thede graduated Cum Laude from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law. She was a recipient of the Faculty Scholar Scholarship, which included full tuition and a stipend. During her time at Pepperdine Ms. Thede earned a certificate of Criminal Law and participated on the school’s Trial Team. She also worked as a Teaching Fellow for the 1L Academic Mastery Program and Student Ambassador for the Office of Admissions. She spent her 1L summer in Rwanda with Sudreau Global Justice Program, working under Justice Aimé Kalimunda researching international crimes and spending 10 days in Uganda participating in the Prison Project, negotiating plea bargains. Ms. Thede spent her 2L summer as a Certified Law Clerk at the Orange County District Attorney’s office with the Family Protection Unit.
Ms. Thede speaks conversational Haitian Creole.
