Joycelyn Cruz

Joycelyn Cruz received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from San Francisco State University.  She was awarded her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in 2007. 

Joycelyn’s professional experience began with representing immigrant victims of domestic violence while working for a nonprofit agency in San Diego.  She then began her decade-long career in workers’ compensation, first as an examiner at a top-rated workers’ compensation insurance carrier, where she gained valuable insight regarding claims from inception to resolution, and has now joined Morgan & Leahy, LLP as a Senior Attorney, representing employers, self-insureds and insurance carriers in all aspects of Workers’ Compensation defense.  

In her free time, Joy enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and two dogs, enjoying the outdoors in southern California.
