David M. Villalvazo

David M. Villalvazo is a workers’ compensation defense attorney representing employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators throughout California. He focuses his practice on all aspects of workers’ compensation litigation, including claim evaluation, case strategy, and resolution.

 

Mr. Villalvazo has extensive experience advising claims professionals on exposure, litigation risk, and settlement authority. He regularly analyzes medical-legal reports, including PQME evaluations, to assess permanent disability, temporary disability exposure, and future medical care. He has developed strategic approaches to resolving cases efficiently through Compromise and Release agreements, Stipulations with Request for Award, or litigation when necessary.

 

Mr. Villalvazo also has significant experience conducting depositions of applicants and medical experts, with a focus on uncovering key facts, evaluating credibility, and positioning cases for favorable outcomes.

 

Mr. Villalvazo earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Southern California.
