Jo A Morales

Ms. Morales possesses over 20 years of experience in the legal field of Workers' Compensation.  She began her Workers' Compensation defense career in 2004. During her career as a Workers' Compensation defense attorney, she has represented insurance carriers, third party administrators, self-insured employers and uninsured employers.  Ms. Morales has provided legal defense services for hospitals, public entities, department stores, grocery stores, and agricultural labor contractors. 

In 2012, Ms. Morales earned the designation of Certified Specialist in Workers' Compensation.  She became a shareholder and managing partner for a large defense firm.  During her time as a shareholder, Ms. Morales played an integral role in the development of training programs for claims personnel including a Webinar series which focused on current and relevant topics in workers' compensation defense. 

In 2023, Ms. Morales ascended to the bench as a Workers' Compensation Judge for the Department of Workers' Compensation in the Fresno District office. After almost two years on the bench, Ms. Morales is looking forward to stepping back into the role of defense attorney to provide  no nonsense, vigorous services to her clients.
