Kayla Ouerbacker

Kayla Ouerbacker received her undergraduate degree in History from the University of California Santa Barbara and was awarded the Dean’s Honors in Letters and Sciences. She earned her Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law in 2024.

Before joining Morgan & Leahy, Ms. Ouerbacker was a workers’ compensation defense attorney representing insurance companies, employers, and third-party administrators. She has had experience successfully defending clients at trial.

During law school, Ms. Ouerbacker focused on business law and intellectual property, was a member of the Business Law Society, and worked as a legal intern for a law firm specializing in providing counsel to tech startups.
