ASHLEY NIJINSKI

Ms. Ashley Nijinski is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego, where she majored in Political Science with an emphasis in Public Law. Thereafter, she obtained her Juris Doctorate from Chapman University, Fowler School of Law, with an emphasis in Advocacy & Dispute Resolution. 

 

Ms. Nijinski began her career as a workers’ compensation defense lawyer in December 2016. Before joining Morgan & Leahy, she gained significant experience defending post-termination cumulative trauma claims and cases involving presumptive compensability. She has spent her career representing large corporations, self-insured entities, universities, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in all aspects of workers' compensation claims, including cases with allegations of both Labor Code Section 132a discrimination and serious and willful misconduct violations.

 

During law school, Ms. Nijinski was a Certified Law Clerk for the San Diego and Orange County District Attorney’s offices, where she developed valuable skills arguing Motions and examining witnesses in criminal court proceedings.  She looks forward to employing these skills and talents to your benefit during any workers’ compensation litigation.

 

Ms. Nijinski focuses on aggressively handling cases to move them expeditiously through the discovery process and postured to proceed to Trial or resolution.
